Building Bridges

Autism Unplugged Learning Centre is committed to enhancing the lives of children and their futures. With the community’s support, our Building Bridges Program helps lower costs to provide vital services for families not currently receiving Government funding. The program also subsidizes families struggling to bridge the gap between Ontario Autism Program Funding, reconciling funds received and waiting to hear if they will receive another round of "interim funding". (Including Learning Readiness, Academic support, Social Interaction/Integration, Stress and Anxiety, Recreational Programming, Seasonal Camps, Parent Training and more.)

Every donation made to Autism Unplugged Learning Centre makes a difference in the lives of families in our community living with autism.

You're gift will help:

  • send a child to after school programming where he/she will strengthen communication, social skills, academics and confidence

  • send a child to Day camp where he/she will get opportunities to experience social learning at their own pace, in a less crowded and sensory friendly environment while learning social communication skills

  • help send a teen to classes to learn emotional control, sustained attention, response inhibition (the capacity to think before you act), planning and organization, time management and social skills

You can make a difference by:

  • Subsidizing a specific program

  • Sponsoring an Event

  • Making a donation

Honorary Donation

Honorary donations have become an increasingly popular way of celebrating a memorable time in a close one’s life. You can donate to Autism Unplugged Learning Centre on behalf of a friend, loved one, or co-worker as a way of celebrating a wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement, holiday or personal accomplishment of theirs. This opportunity is an excellent way to acknowledge success and hard work while giving back to a worthy cause.

Memorial Donation

Many of our supporters choose to honor the memory of a loved one by setting up a memorial donation to Autism Unplugged Learning Centre. In doing so, you can ensure your loved ones will be remembered through support to a wonderful cause that is near and dear to their hearts.

Gifts in Kind

Autism Unplugged Learning Centre will gladly accept any gifts-in-kind for which there is a use by the Centre.  For more information on Gifts in Kind, please contact us at donations@autismunplugged.ca.

Major Sponsors/Corporate Donations Powering Possibility

Major sponsors are an exclusive group of donors who help fuel lasting community impact in the places we live and love. By investing in Autism Unplugged Learning Centre, you can demonstrate your commitment to transforming individual lives—both today and tomorrow. Being a good citizen not only impacts the quality of life in the communities where you conduct business, but it demonstrates that you care about the health and well-being of children and their families. The message will come across loud and clear to the public: you are thankful to people for supporting your business and you want to give back to the community.  We can help by ensuring that your message of compassion and generosity is reaching your community in a very visible and meaningful way. For more information about Major Sponsorships, please contact us at donations@autismunplugged.ca.

How will you be Recognized for your Support?

Recognition is consistent with the level of your donation. It may include company recognition in our conference materials, brochures, marketing and program materials.
